Old Vasse Trout & Marron Farm

The place was amazing for last +30years but now with new management the prices are very high and double of what I can pay in other places.The water level in lake's is very low and fish are small and hard to get comparing to numerous previous visits over the years.The biggest downfall they no longer cook your fish and now you have to do it yourself back home or go to town 10km away and pay in restaurant for them to cook it for you.So now the prices double or triple again making it no longer worth the effort.The best thing about this place before was1 plenty of fish all the way up to 1.3kg now only 300g if you lucky.2 fish was cleaned and cooked for you within minutes after you finish fishing.3 the price of cooking was included in cost of fish and they were nearly half of what you now pay just for fish alone.4 on top of that there is entry fee for catching fish.So for future visits I'm not sure if I will come back again unless there will be some major changes

There were completely no fish in the pool . We went Since 11 am -3.30 pm not event bite . A lot of people came in the same day we all caught non . Quite surprised as there are fish farm but no fish

Lovely place. We didn't catch anything, but still had nice time, it is a beautiful place to visit. Trout and marron are also sold there. Everything is fresh.Very good customer service.

The was very enjoyable time we had a great luck on the day .also the fish were the best taste ever. Definitely we will come again ❤️

Such a great place with family. We all caught 13 Rainbow Trout. We cooked some up for dinner that night

Awesome afternoon with my Dad and Brother. Struggled to find access to someowhere to fish and then saw Old Vasse as we drove passed. Had a lot of fun!

Good stop over if you’re looking for an activity to do while you’re in Pemberton. Customer service is average. Expect to spend $20 for rod hire and about 2 hours to catch trout. The caught trout is weighed and you pay for the weight of trout you bring in. They clean and pack it for you to take home. Good experience if you like fishing.

paid $50 dollars entry but didn’t get any fish. not even fish biting the bait … only bait and bucket provided no service at all so not too sure what the other reviews about service talking about. this is recent experience so perhaps a year ago was different? Please don’t waste your money there just go fishing somewhere else.

We've been coming here for years and great to see it open again (it was closed the last time we were in town in early 2017). Although they don't officially open mid week outside school holidays, we messaged Justin Sunday night, he replied within minutes and opened specially for us Monday morning. We had the place to ourselves, caught 6 beautiful rainbow trout in 2 hours, and Justin cleaned them for us. A wonderful visit. We'll be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

There was completely no fish at all when we were there for 2 whole hours! It is also very secluded from any where and not worth it to driveIt is also a waste of time as we threw so much feed and bait inside at at least 4 different locations but there was no result at all.The only good thing here is the serenity and the nice view that they haveWouldn't recommend coming here.
